Robert Evan Noyes
Retired U.P.S. Truck Driver

TEWKSBURY: Robert Evan Noyes, age 73, a resident of Tewksbury for 51 years, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Christine L. (Van Brasch) Noyes, with whom he celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on October 5, 2015.

Born in Melrose on January 21, 1943. He was the son of Frances M. (Hall) Noyes, who survives him, of Wallingford, CT and the late Evan A. Noyes.

Bob was raised in Wakefield, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1960.

Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served until his honorable discharge on October 23, 1964.

Prior to his retirement in 2005, Bob worked as a truck driver for 38 years at United Parcel Service mostly in Chelmsford.

He was a member of the William Sewell Gardner Masonic Lodge in Lowell.

Bob enjoyed many activities especially traveling and playing golf at Trull Brook Golf Course.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Scott Robert Noyes and his wife Linda of Milton, VT and Douglas Evan Noyes and his wife Denise of Londonderry, NH; one granddaughter, Calgary (Noyes)Tremblay and her husband Steven of Essex, VT; one great grandson, Brody J. Tremblay; his sister, Sandra Nelson and her husband Vernon of Wallingford, CT; also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members from New England to the West Coast.

Services for Bob will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, Tewksbury.
