Don F. Green, 80, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, September 5, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Derrell Hampton officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Mr. Green was born July 17, 1936, in Versailles, Missouri to the late Loyd & Grace Crain Green. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was an electrician and worked in maintenance for Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Mystic.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Amanda & Brian Hester of Ocilla, Holly Parten of Clearwater, Florida and Sean Northcutt of Hahira; and a great-grandchild: Reese Hester. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Marriott Green; his second wife, Marie Hodge Green; and a brother, James Green.
