E. TAUNTON – Dora I. (Plummer) Dutra, wife of Carl E. Dutra for 73 years, died peacefully at Life Care of Raynham on Sept. 1, 2016. She was 92.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Plummer. Dora graduated from Taunton High School Class 1943 and became a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Paul A. Dever State School for many years, retiring in 1990. A communicant of Holy Family Church in E. Taunton, Dora enjoyed crocheting, dancing and reading books.
Besides her husband Carl of many loving years, she leaves four daughters, Lois E. Lane and her husband Paul of Raynham, Linda Coe and her husband James of Raynham, Janis Souza of Taunton and Diane Wilson and her husband Harold of Taunton; a sister, Joyce Gaddy of Norton; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister to the late Leo Plummer, Emile Massey and Jean Pimentel.
Her funeral mass will be at Holy Family Church on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will be private.
