Keith C. Bouthillier, 52, of Truro died Monday, August 29th at Wingate of Brewster after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the life partner of Jordan Klatt.
Born in Plattsburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Marian (Chamberlain) Bouthillier. A graduate of Colgate University, he relocated to Boston to attend Harvard Law School. After a year he began working with a real estate development company in Boston. He then started developing and renting property in the Back Bay on his own.
After the loss of his greyhound Minnie, Keith by chance started a dog walking service in his Back Bay neighborhood. Keith could be found on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall or along the Charles River Esplanade walking groups of his dogs. Both the dogs and the owners became a large part of his life. Keith also enjoyed his time on the Cape, moving part time to the Cape, then to Truro full time three years ago.
In addition to his partner Jordan Klatt, Keith is survived by brothers Brian Bouthillier of Lakeland, NY and Bruce Bouthillier of Cicero, NY. He also leaves an aunt, Agnes Drury of Wyoming, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will take place in both Syracuse, New York and Truro at a time to be announced. Please check the funeral home website service updates.
