Peter J. Walsh, age 88, passed away peacefully in his loving family’s company on Monday, August 29, 2016. Born in Boston, he had lived in Hyde Park and Dorchester prior to his move to Milton 50 years ago. Mr. Walsh was a WW II Navy veteran, a graduate of Northeastern University Class of ’58, and a retired Plant Manager of Cole Hersee Co., So. Boston. He was also a longtime parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of St. Agatha Church. The beloved husband of the late Marjorie M. (Howley), he is survived by his devoted children; Nancy A. Mullen & her husband Peter of Quincy, Jane L. Savignano & her husband Stephen of San Jose, CA, Rev. Peter J. Walsh C.S.C. of Austin, TX, Patrick J. Walsh & his wife Claudia of Marshfield and Thomas C. Walsh & his wife Palma of Acton and cherished grandfather of James, Patrick & Caroline Mullen, Stephen, Michael & Matthew Savignano, Liam, Aidan & Sofia Walsh and Juliana & Dillon Walsh. He was the dear brother of Eileen Stuart of Cambridge, Vincent Walsh of Carver, Mary Donato of Pembroke and the late Richard & Leo Walsh and Chris Finnegan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Saturday at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Friday, 4 to 8 PM.
