Della ( Robert) Desmarais 92, of Maple View Manor, formerly of Woonsocket died August 29, 2016. She was the wife of the late Albert Desmarais. Born in Blackstone, MA she was a daughter of the late Isaie and Josephine (Girard ) Robert. Della worked in several area textile mills; she then worked as an assembler for Pratt and Whitney for many years.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Fortunat, Lucien, and Gaston Robert, and two sister, Paula Lacouture, and Laurette Laplante.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
