Alice J. Schroth previously of Sturbridge, MA. Passed away peacefully August 25, 2016 at the age of 80. She leaves her children, Shane E. Schroth of Sturbridge, MA., Michael T. Schroth of Chelmsford, MA., Lorrie J. Roughan of Sandwich, MA., Peter G. Schroth of Longmont, CO., and Dawn Van Wickler of Wading River, N.Y., 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Boston, MA., Alice graduated from Stoughton High School. She worked as a sales manager in retail before enjoying her retirement. She was a member of St. Anne Parish in Fiskdale, MA. Alice enjoyed crafts, sewing and was an avid walker for many years. Her engaging personality touched many lives and she will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be Private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. A Memorial Mass for friends and community will be held at a future date. The family requests that prayers be offered in her remembrance at the annual celebration of All Souls Day on November 2nd. The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., in Charlton is assisting Alice’s family with arrangements.
