At heart an enthusiastic performer he was most at home on stage as an actor, or as a singing guitarist. He last appeared in that role at his mother’s memorial service in 2015. Robert Lovewell was very proud of his New England heritage: the Lovewells first landed in Weymouth in 1635; the family were successful farmers in Weston, MA at and around the Red Barns for more than 250 years; at least four of his ancestors were with George Washington at Valley Forge. Like so many of us, Robbie had some family roots with the Bradfords of Plymouth, MA. Many proud furniture makers, bankers, pharmacists, and doctors were part of his family stream.
