Cynthia Bethoney Alkanan, age 46, of Brockton and formerly of Weymouth passed away suddenly on August 24, 2016. Cindy was raised and educated in Weymouth where she also raised her daughter. She graduated with High Honors from Suffolk University. Cindy loved her parents and valued her whole family. She was known as a free spirit who was always smiling that smile that could light up the room. Cindy never complained, loved helping people, and enjoyed listening to music and dancing.
Cindy is the beloved mother of Farrah Alkanan and her fiancé Mark DiPaolo II of Walpole, MA, cherished daughter of Gail Clements and her companion John McGrath of Weymouth and the late Christopher Bethoney Sr., loving sister to Christopher Bethoney and his wife Olena of Duxbury, and Katherine Bethoney and her companion Arthur Glodzik of Pembroke, loving Aunt of Sophia, Christian, Trinity, and Justin Rodgers. Cindy is remembered by her good friends Danny McCarthy and Cindy O’Neil Pulsifer, and many loving friends and cousins.
