Catherine (Feole) Bertrand, 66, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, Catherine was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Catherine was retired from Aved Electronics in Chelmsford where she had worked as a Quality Control Inspector.
The daughter of Jeannette Sharpe of Methuen and the late Philip Feole, members of Catherine’s family include three children: Donald Bertrand of Manchester, NH, Steven Bertrand and his significant other Dee True of Hudson, NH and Michelle Bertrand and her significant other George Sandner of Salem, NH. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Katie Bertrand, Steven Bertrand, Cameron Pinet, Alec Bertrand and Dillan Bertrand, as well as her sister Phyllis Grasso and her husband Guy, and a brother Sam Howard and his wife Nam. Catherine is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as her three “Fur Babies” Boston, Lilly, and Cody. The family would like to express their thanks to the Prescott House as well as Dr. Mehta and Dr. Goff and their entire staff at the Dana Farber Cancer Care in Methuen for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery, also in Lawrence. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
