Theodore “Teddy” Rodriguez, 58, of Medway died August 27 in Milford Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the devoted husband of Joanne T (Moran) Rodriguez with whom he would have been married for 23 years this October.
Born in Cambridge, September 25, 1957, the son of the late Alfred and Jane (Caruso) Rodriguez, Mr. Rodriguez was raised in Canton and lived in Medway for the past 23 years.
Teddy was a graduate of Canton High School and also a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
He had worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Cosentini Associates for the last 28 years.
Teddy was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed golfing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister-in-law’s Elaine Piazza and her husband Louis of Milford and Susan Lundberg and her husband Scott of Whitinsville.
He is also survived by his godchild, Quinn McDowell, his niece Melissa McDowell and her husband Jeremy, his nephew David Piazza and his wife Heather and his niece Lauren Piazza.
He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and co-workers.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 1 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
