BEVERLY: Louise F. (Corbett) Hamilton, 86, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Hamilton with whom she shared 66 years of marriage and many dances with.
Born in Lynn on March 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Mannix) Corbett. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was a resident of Beverly for many years.
Louise committed her life to raising and nurturing her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. She loved doing crafts and especially liked summertime so she could tend to her garden.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Sandy Connolly of Danvers, Debbie Ward and her husband, Greg of Manchester-by-the-Sea and Bobby Hamilton and his wife, Jeannette of Beverly; eight grandchildren, Sean, Parker and Paige Ward, Kim DeFrancesco, Brad, Jonathan, Ryan, and DJ Hamilton and 14 great-grand children; a sister, Helen D’Entremont and her husband, John of Middletown, Ohio and her brother-in-law, Matt Dillon of Danvers. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Geri Farrahar and Elaine Dillon, two brothers, William and Donald Corbett and her son-in-law Warren Connolly.
A funeral service for Louise will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1st in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street in Beverly at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 31st from 5 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
