DEVLIN, Thomas A. Aged 93, of Jupiter, FL, formerly of Needham, on August 26, 2016. Beloved son of the late Neil and Katherine Devlin of Galway, Ireland. Husband of the late, wonderful Lorraine (Foster) Devlin, and beloved father of Neil and wife Kirsten, Brian and wife Jennifer, and Kimberly and husband Howard Goldman. Brother of Neil, Richard, Mary, and adoring grandfather of seven.
Tom served in WWII in the European, African, and Middle Eastern theaters. In his final year in the Navy, he took part in the amphibious attack of Italy as the Allies began the march to Berlin. He received numerous service medals for his actions. Upon his return, Tom enrolled at Suffolk University in Boston, and began a career in property management with the Corps of Engineers, NASA, Department of Transportation, and, after 45 years of public service, he joined GTE for 15 years. His sense of humor and devotion to family will be greatly missed.
