Frances D. Camara, age 100, of Somerset MA, passed away on August 26, 2016 at Mt. St. Rita's Nursing Home, Cumberland, RI. She was the beloved wife the late Joseph R. Camara. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John DeMello and Maria Jose (Amaral) Vasconcellos. Frances loved to cook and shop. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Frances leaves behind her nephews Gary Fragoza of Cumberland, RI., Gregory Fragoza of Pompano, FL, and her niece Beverly (Fragoza) Sousa of Mashpee, MA., also nieces Judith Rosa of Somerset, PatriciaTerlisner, Middletown RI., Genevieve Driscoll, Portsmouth, RI. She was predeceased by her loving sister Isabel D. Fragoza. She was also sister of the late step-brothers John, Tony, and Constantino Vasconcellos and many great & great, great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place at the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home at 1521 N. Main St. in Fall River on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. It will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John of God Church, Somerset at 11:30 A.M., followed by internment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
