New Bedford - Joanna Wojtkunski, age 98, passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the loving wife of the late Kazimerz P. Wojtkunski.
Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie Kocur, Joanna devoted her life to upbringing of her family.
Her family includes her daughter, Patricia Sharples of New Bedford; siblings, Wanda Mitzan of Florida, Edwin Kocur of New Bedford and the late Evelyn Kocur.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
