Jason Donald Mahoney, 22, of Fairhaven died Tuesday July 26, 2005.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Laurie Ann (Smith) Mahoney of Fairhaven and the late David W. Mahoney, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was employed as a commercial fisherman.
He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball and loved watching sports.
Survivors include his mother; two sisters, Ashley Marie Mahoney and Marissa Lynn Smith, both of New Bedford; his grandparents, BettyLou Smith of Fairhaven, and Albert Vanasse and Lorraine Queripel, both of New Bedford; three nieces; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 30, 2005 at 9:30AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM, prior to the Service.
