Mark Robert Kanable, 33, of Marina Del Rey, California died August 14, 2016 at Marina Del Rey Hospital.
Mark was born May 18, 1983 in Anderson the son of John and Connie (Myers) Kanable.
After graduating from Highland High School then Indiana University Kelley School of Business, he worked at Shaw Flooring then was employed by YOH Recruiting.
Mark lived a full and fearless life.
He moved to the exciting borough of Manhattan, New York City.
After three years, he moved to California where he spent the remainder of his life. Mark lived his dream by buying a boat and living on the water in Marina Del Rey with his beloved golden retriever, Reese. He had a large group of devoted friends there who held a sunset beach memorial for him last week.
Mark was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, always flying in for family vacations and spear-heading a reunion of his high school friends every Christmas. This handsome man with the piercing blue eyes will be remembered for his infectious smile, sense of adventure, and ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he went.
Survivors include his parents, John and Connie Kanable, sisters, Kristen (Matthew) Hough and Kelsey Kanable; nephew Louis Hough; grandmother, Margaret Peterson, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of life service will be held 10 am Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 4011 West 200 South Road; Anderson, with Rev. William Garver officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery
Friends may gather at Bethel United Methodist Church to visit with his family on Sunday, August 28 from 2 to 6 p.m.
