TEWKSBURY: Rosemary R. (Voner) Gibson, age 66, a resident of Tewksbury for 10 years, a former 30 year Arlington resident, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, following a brief illness.
She was the life partner of the late Garry Lee Gibson, who passed away on March 18, 2016.
Born in Cambridge on December 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Voner and the late Rita J. (Flynn) Voner.
Rosemary was raised in Somerville, and graduated from St. Joseph’s Parochial High School.
She was a successful business woman with a 40 year career at John Hancock Insurance Company.
Rosemary is survived by her brother, Richard J. Voner and his wife Lee Ann of Revere; her sister, CherylAnne Houde and her husband Steven of Tewksbury; her sister-in-law, Leahbeth Voner of Marietta, OH. She was the cherished aunt of Jennifer and Michael Juliano, Richard and Paola Voner, Maryanne, Shawn and Irene Houde, and great aunt of Mason Juliano.
Rosemary was the sister of the late Frederick R. Voner, who passed away on March 7, 2016.
Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 29, from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations Rosemary’s memory may be made to the MSPCA- Nevins farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 or to New England Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1600 Providence Highway, # 143, Walpole, MA 02081.
