Katherine A. Lawlor (Lyons) age 81 of Milton passed away August 24th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School. She worked as a clerk for the City of Boston Department of Health & Hospitals for many years, and also was a beloved Teacher’s Aid for the Milton Public Schools for 18 years. Katherine was proud of her Dorchester roots and was an active member of St. Gregory Parish and a volunteer for the Columban Sisters. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Mother of Christopher J. Lawlor of Dorchester, Mary Frances Stenson and her husband John of Milton, and Kathryn A. McSweeney of Milton. Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth, Jack , and Grace Stenson, Colin and Annabelle McSweeney. Loving sister of James F. Lyons and Ellen T. Crowley both of Braintree. Beloved cousin of Anne Viles of Dedham. Funeral mass at St. Gregory’s Parish Dorchester Saturday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D.
