Rosemary Jean Falasca, a lifelong resident of Medford passed away peacefully on August 23, 2016 at her home. Rosemary was 75 years old. She was born on January 8, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Antonelli) Falasca. Ms. Falasca enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her 16 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren. Rosemary had a fiery spirit, which will be loved forever and missed by all who knew her. She was a fan of the New York Yankees and loved shopping at Wal-Mart.
Ms. Falasca is survived by her loving children; James Hawkins and his wife Petra of Wareham, Linda Mingace and her husband David of Plymouth, Lawrence Hawkins and his wife Linda of Medford, Robert Hawkins and his girlfriend Stacey Lemieux of Hampstead, NH, Kathleen DiPietro her husband Joseph of Woburn, and Michelle Singer and her husband Aaron of Atkinson, NH. She is also survived by a brother; Eugene Falasca and a sister Pauline Parent. Rosemary is reunited with her 6 siblings who predeceased her.
Calling Hours will be held 2:00-6:00pm on Sunday August 28th at Gaffey Funeral Home 43 High St Medford. Rosemary's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 29th at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
