Michaelene Barrett, age 77, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London . She was born in New York City and lived most of her years in Maplewood, New Jersey.
Michaelene worked for many years as a paralegal for the Law firm of Riker, Danzig in Morristown, New Jersey before moving to Niantic, Connecticut. She loved cooking, reading, golf and was an avid Giants and Mets fan. During her retirement years, she enjoyed being a member of the Black Point community in Niantic.
She is survived by five children, Charles S. Barrett IV, Michaelene Bouchard, Margaret Barrett, Kevin Barrett and Tim Barrett; one brother, Howard Martin; four grandchildren and two nieces.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Francis Chapel, 2 Central Avenue on the Corner of Crescent Avenue in Niantic.
