Alex P. Steeves, a lifelong resident of Andover and beloved son of Gerald J. Steeves of Andover and the late Marylou Gaudette. Passed away of a drug overdose on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016. He was 27 years old.
He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on July 11, 1989. Mr. Steeves was a graduate of Andover High School. He worked with his father as a Fitter for Fire Sprinkler Systems. In his spare time, Alex enjoyed graffiti art, music, enjoying time with friends, 4 wheeling, snowboarding, visiting New Hampshire, swimming and many other things. Alex was known for his great sense of humor and was always cracking jokes no matter what. When you were with Alex he could always make you laugh and put a smile on your face. We will forever remember his lively spirit and good heart. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his father, Gerald, he is survived by his fathers girlfriend; Jackie Hood of Andover, siblings; Jason and his wife Candice Steeves of Litchfield, New Hampshire, Jeremy Steeves of Lawrence, Andrew Jackson of Lawrence and Leah and her husband Christopher Agnew of Haverhill, Jackie's children; Nick Aims, Kelsie Hood and Lana Hood. Aunts and uncles; many. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 7 PM in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be private.
