Gale F. (Hanna) Durkin, 63 of Tewksbury and formerly of Natick, died Saturday, August 20th at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Walter F. Durkin and loving mother of Shaun Durkin and the late Kelly Ann Durkin. Also, one of her greatest pleasures was being with her dog and best friend, "Bailey."
A Tewksbury resident for 36 years she was born in Natick the devoted daughter of the late Leonard and Doris (Ryan) Hanna.
In addition to her husband and son she is survived by many cousins and extended family.
Gale was a dedicated School Administrator for the Town of Tewksbury for 22 years during which she maintained many close friendships over the years.
She enjoyed the Boston professional sports teams, being the biggest fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots
Gale attended Bentley College and the Natick School system.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 25th at 12 Noon in St Patrick’s Church Natick.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common are on Thursday morning beginning at 9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
