Vance, Jr., Charles E., 77, passed away August 21, 2016 in Louisville.
Charles retired after 19 years from U of L in Printing and Publication, is Past Master of Masonic Lodge #896, and a member of Kosair Temple – Scottish Rite.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, the former Diane Bartlett; children, Cindy Applebey (David), Duffy Vance (Cassie); step-children, Robyn Embry, Christopher Bartlett (Nikki); his mother, Emma Jean Vance; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; brothers, Smitty, and Robert (Rosie) Vance; a sister, Patricia Poole.

Funeral Services are Friday at 11:00AM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Thursday 3:00-8:00PM.
