Janet E. Rich, 58, of Spring Grove Road, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Providence. She was the husband of Daniel A. Rich. They had been married for 15 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Jean E. (Goldsmith) Mitchell. She had lived in Glocester for many years. She was an US Air Force veteran. She had worked as a CNA at Zambrano Hospital in Burrillville before retiring in 2006.
Besides her husband she is survived by her step-children: Janis Gutierrez of Springfield, NJ and Ceclia Rich of Woonsocket, two step-grandchildren: Angelina and Francisco, her siblings: Linda Mitchell of Tacoma, WA, David Mitchell of Mesa, AZ, Christine Manzo of Lincoln and her nephews: Anthony and Joshua Headquist. She was the sister of the late Stephen L. Mitchell.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7pm in Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm.
