Kevin E. Shutts, 50, of Derry, NH, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. He was born in Columbus, OH n May 25, 1966, the son of the late George and Lorraine (Dougherty) Shutts. Kevin was a hard worker who loved earning a living as a truck driver for 34 years and, especially for the past 9 years at R&L Carriers of Manchester, NH, whom he called his second family.
He is survived by his son Ryan Shutts of Raymond NH, Fiance, Johanna Kula, of Derry, NH, three brothers, Michael Shutts of S. Portland, ME, Steven Shutts of Buxton, ME, and David Shutts of S. Portland, ME; one sister, Laura Amalfitano of PA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2pm at the Halcyon Club, 11 Central St., Derry.
