Diane Wheeler Cheetham, 73, of Stonington died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital I New London. Her beloved husband, Kenneth Cheetham, predeceased her in 2001.
She was born on October 28, 1942 in New London, the daughter of Nelson and Muriel (Minor) Wheeler.
She is survived by her children Dwight Cheetham of Pennsylvania and Scott Cheetham and his wife Anna of Stonington as well as her 7 grandchildren: Alicia, Kali, Matthew, Joshua, Deborah, Stephen, and Micah. Diane will also be missed by her close friend, Joseph Connell.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday, August 30, at 1:00pm in Elm Grove Cemetery, Route 27, Mystic.
