Daniel R. Johnson of Londonderry, NH passed away suddenly at the age of 43 on August 18, 2016 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Born in Attleboro, MA on May 18, 1973, he was raised in North Attleboro where he graduated with the class of 1991.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Debra A. (Pelland) Johnson, and their three children Hannah, Benjamin and Andrew, all of Londonderry, NH. He is also survived by his parents Larry and LaVonne Johnson of North Attleboro, MA, his brother Robert Johnson and his wife Gloria of Gypsum, CO, his brother Kent Johnson and wife Julie of North Attleboro and many other loved ones including 25 nieces and nephews.
Dan received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and his MBA from Boston University. He was employed by Fidelity Investments for over 13 years before moving on to his most recent position as Director of Global Operations at Riverbed Technologies. Dan volunteered many hours over his lifetime, most recently as the treasurer of his local chapter of the Knights of Columbus Council 6049 and treasurer of the Londonderry Lancers Gridiron Club. He was a member of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.
Dan played many sports growing up, and loved watching and coaching his boys and their friends on various teams. He was an avid reader, loved football and the outdoors, but he was most happy just being with his family.
Visiting hours were from 4-8 pm on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, NH. Burial followed at the Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry.
