ANDERSON--Carolyn J. Cole, 69, of Anderson went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 18, 2016 after an extended illness. She passed away in the warmth and comfort of her home.
She married the love of her life, Leon Cole on September 22, 1962. She was a very loving and caring lady. She enjoyed being with her great grandchildren. They brought happiness to her life.
She enjoyed doing craft work, her favorite was building bird houses.
She was a collector of many things, first it was her bells, that she had received from all over the United States. Then, it was her roosters that filled every spot in her kitchen.
Carolyn then started collecting (Boyd's) dolls, they took over her house.
She is survived by her five children, Connie Webb of Anderson, Gloria (William) Hyde of Texas, Jesse (Jennifer) Cole, Norman Cole (fiancée Kim) of Anderson, Kevin (Tashua) Cole of Dublin; nine grandchildren, Valarie, Destynne, Ashley, Stephanie, Megan, Ivan, Sydney, Zackary and Asher and Mallory; eight great-grandchildren, Mariah, Elijah, Sophia, Natalie, Ryder, Colton, Rowen and Brinlie; brother, Hayword (Debbie) Baker; sisters, Debbie (Randy) Kilpatrick; Pam Baker and Kim (Duane) Reeves
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Kathaleen Baker, her husband, Leon Cole and her brother, George Baker.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 22, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor William Bruneau officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Monday 2 hours prior to the service
