Mary Frances (Frankie) Dix Wynn, 91, of Tifton, Georgia, formerly of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with the Rev. Huey Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery, in Ocilla. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 12:30 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wynn was born October 18, 1924, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Eddie & Maude Martin Dix. She lived in Ocilla most of her life. She was a homemaker, a sales clerk for Nathan Department Store and Cohen Department Store, a grader for Hudson Pecan and Gray Peanuts, and also an Avon sales representative. Mrs. Wynn was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Ocilla.
She is survived by her daughter: Linda Moyer & Bill of Tifton and a son: Robert Wynn of Rebecca; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Elzie Wynn; a son: Mark Wynn; a daughter-in-law: Miriam Wynn; seven brothers and five sisters.
