Gary “Gubba” T. Robinson, age 57 of Methuen passed away on August 16, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House. Gary was born in Lowell on January 7, 1959 to the late Henry J. Robinson and Ellen (Hepworth) Robinson Howarth. He was a graduate of the Lawrence Vocational High School, Class of 1976. He was a former employee of Bay State Gas Company. Gary enjoyed boating, spending time at Alton Bay and Lake Winnipesaukee, playing adult hockey and spending quality time with both family and friends.
Gary was the devoted father of Candice Robinson and her partner Michael Jhonson of Methuen. He was the dear brother of Lori Robinson and her partner Kevin of Michigan, David Robinson and his wife Donna of Oregon, and Jane Anzalone and her husband Richard of Raymond, NH and dear stepbrother of Donnie Howarth and his wife Terri of Colorado, and Debby Cardone of Maine. Gary was the cherished uncle of Daniel Anzalone and Alison Anzalone. He is also survived by Cindy (Hoffman) Mafera-Thompson, and Tim Hoffman of Oregon and several other local cousins.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours beginning promptly at 6:00 PM. Per the family request, there will be no interment services.
