Christopher Milton Rousey, 40, of Tifton passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, in Moultrie. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Liberty Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. Mr. Rousey will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 21, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Liberty Baptist Church in Tifton.
Wendell Hall, Wayne Stone, Eric Wisham, John Horton, Joel Graham and Will Rousey will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 21, 1975 in Tifton, Mr. Rousey was the son of Vickey Rousey of Tifton. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Theo M. Rousey. He was a member of the 1992 Tiftarea Academy Football State Championship Team and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tifton. He loved to fish and hunt.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Rousey is survived by his grandmother, Lillie Rousey of Tifton; a sister, Nichole Rousey of Tifton; an uncle and his wife, Milton and Diane Rousey of Tifton; two aunts, Ann Rousey of Tifton, Debra Rousey of Tifton; a niece, Kynsee Tabor; a nephew, Ethan Tabor; and two cousins, Will Rousey and Rachel Futch.
