FALL RIVER… Eulalia “Lolly” (Teixeira) Luz, 85, of Fall River passed away August 15, 2016. She was the widow of Edmond Luz. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Almeida) Teixeira and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was employed as a presser and had worked 20 years for Tioga Frankonia Sportswear and 26 years for Shellburn Shirt before retiring. Lolly was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church and enjoyed walking, shopping, trips to Newport Jai Alai, and going out with friends and spending time with family.
Survivors include a son Stephen Luz of Fall River, a sister Adelaide “Ida” Botelho of Fall River, 2 grandchildren Aimee Lynn Luz and Adam Stephen Luz, a great grandchild Elijah Jayden Luz. She was sister of the late Manuel Teixeira, Mary Teixeira, and Margaret Almeida.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday at 8 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Espirito Santo Church 311 Alden Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
