Lyle J. Fischer
Beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather Passed away peacefully August 14th, 2016. Preceded in death by beloved wife Phyllis; parents Ethel and Bernard; beloved daughter Shannon; grandson Eric Edlund. Survived by daughter Pamela J. Larsin of Oakdale, MN; son David P. (Kathryn L.) Fischer of Eden Prairie, MN; son Scott A. Fischer of Hudson, WI; 2 grandchildren April and Madelyn; 4 great grandchildren, Nick, Riley, Jordan, and Charlie Grace. Lyle was a lifelong member of Transfiguration Church in Oakdale, MN. Retired banker and accountant; 20 years active duty USAF and Air National Guard Veteran. Graduate of Cretan High School, Class of '52. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Wednesday August 17th at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133 15th St. N. Oakdale, with a visitation 2 hours prior. Interment with military honors 10 AM Thursday. August 18th at FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY, ASSEMBLY AREA #2.
