Obituary

Theodore James Johnson, 81, a lifelong resident of Medway, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 15, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Davidson) Johnson for 59 years.

Born in Milford on July 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Harry T. and Allevina (Benson) Johnson.

Before his retirement, Mr. Johnson worked at General Motors for 26 years and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union.

He was the owner and caretaker of Muddy Acres Horse Farm in Medway since 1957.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Theodore A. Johnson and his wife Robin of Medway, Amy E. Fletcher and her husband William of Medway and Paul D. Johnson of Whitinsville and five grandchildren, Marc, Kasey, Rachel, Luke and Amanda.

He is also survived by two brothers, George B. Johnson and Harry T. Johnson, both of Medway, and many many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Frances LeMay, Virginia Brennan and Marjorie Rice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
