Bro. Delmer Frank Browning, 84, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016. He was a minister for many congregations of the Church of Christ and a teacher at Portland Christian.
He is preceded in death by his grandsons, Ryan and Justin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Sara (Covey); son, Derek Browning (Jessie) and; their three children, daughter, Melanie Browning and her children, Desiree and Brandon, brother, Jon Browning (Alice); sisters, Mary Hale (Norman) and Ruth Browning.
His funeral will be 1 pm Wednesday at Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Lane with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 am to 1pm at the church. Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers expressions may be made to the Delmer Browning memorial fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
