TILTON - William Michael "Bill" Strempek , 74, of Tilton, formerly of Springfield and Ludlow, Mass., died on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with his wife Lillian by his side.
He was born in Ludlow, Mass., the son of Michael and Irene Strempek. Bill grew up in Ludlow, Mass. Bill and Lillian were married for 37 years and moved to Sanbornton, NH in 1978. Bill served as a firefighter for the city of Springfield, Ma and Laconia. NH collectively until his retirement.
Bill was an avid skier, boater and golfer and had an unparalleled zest for life. He loved spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Lillian Strempek of Tilton, NH., and Mother, Irene Strempek of West Yarmouth, MA., three children, Michael Strempek LaPlante and husband Leo of Sarasota, FL., Darren Strempek and wife Kelly of Ludlow, Mass., Jason Strempek and wife Kara of So. Burlington, Vt.; stepsons William Kulle and his wife Norma of Springfield, MA., Aaron Kulle of Sarasota, FL.; and a step daughter Theresa Bolte of Tilton.; a daughter-in-law, Joan Kulle of West Rockport, ME., his grandchildren; Nico Strempek, Damon Strempek, Brody Strempek, Kara Goldenberg, Alyssa Kulle, Lauren Kulle, Jacqueline Kulle, Brittany Camp, Christopher Bolte, Chelsea O’Connell;, two sisters Cynthia Bielanski of South Deerfield, MA and Patricia Kozaczka of Longmeadow, MA. three great-grandchildren; Brianna, Jordan and Henry and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his father Michael William Strempek and a stepson Francis Kulle.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia.
Burial will be private.
