Peabody: Marlene L. (Belanger) Degeis, 77 of Peabody, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Patsy H. Degeis.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Marie A. (Marquis) Belanger. As a young woman, she worked in the shoe manufacturing industry of Peabody.
Marlene is survived by her brother Andres J. Belanger and his wife Mary Anna “Eileen” of Deering, NH as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Marquis, Edward Belanger, Saber Lynch and Patricia Savio.
Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in St. Mary’s
