Janet L. (Clifford) Hart, 79, of Westport passed away peacefully at the cottage on Saturday, August 13, 2016 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Howard B. and Beatrice (Mills) Clifford.
Mrs. Hart was born in New Bedford and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a school teacher for the Town of Somerset. She was a dog lover and a long standing member of the Wampanoag Kennel Club.
Survivors include her son: Kevin H. Hart of Dartmouth; her daughter: Jane M. Pariseau of Westport; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
