Mrs. Marian E. (Batchelder) Charewicz, a resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late Walenty Charewicz, passed away at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2016. She was 91 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 28, 1924, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ezra and Mary (McAdams) Batchelder. Mrs. Charewicz was a Devoted Catholic and was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. She had worked as a Seasonal Clerk for the IRS in Andover for many years. Marian had been busy at Spectrum of North Andover for the past seven months. She will be dearly missed.
Marian is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law; Michael J. and his wife Deborah J. Charewicz of Andover and two grandchildren; Jason M. and Brett C. Charewicz, both of Andover. She was also the sister of the late Ann Millar.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggett's Pond Road, Andover on Wednesday evening, September 7, 2016, at 6 PM.
