Cox, Barbara A. (Simpson), 78, passed away August 12, 2016 in Louisville.
She was born to Glynn and Dorothy (Carter) Simpson in Nashville, TN.
Barbara was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, Eastern Star #153, VFW #4075, and Order of the Amaranth.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy W. Cox Sr.; and a good companion, Lambert Gobber.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Glenda Pfaadt, Robin Palmer (Pete), David Cox (Patti), and a step-son, Roy W. Cox Jr.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Simpson (Connie); and her beloved puppy Buddy.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11:00AM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday 1:00-8:00PM.
