Margaret Richardson Perkins, age 88, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. Born in Macon,MS, she was the daughter of the late George Mark and Ella Hunter Richardson. Mrs. Perkins was a member of The First Baptist Church of Water Valley, MS and was retired from The Yalobusha County Welfare Department where she worked for years as a Social Worker.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, July 27, 2005 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Thursday , July 28, 2005 with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Pallbearers will be; Stanley Crow, Greg Jones, Jackie Sartain, Dennis McMinn, Dr. Rayford Edgar, Larry Hart, Melvin Ford and Andy Phillips. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by one son, Lawrence Perkins and his wife Sandra of Tupelo, MS and one Brother, George Mark Richardson of Gainsville, FL. Preceding her in death was her husband, Stanley L. Perkins.
The family request that in leui of flowers, memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Water Valley or to the charity of the donor's choice.
