Nilda Malone Prestage, 84, of Lafayette County, formerly of Paris,MS, died Monday, July 25,2005, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday at Paris Baptist Church, followed by graveside services at Paris Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Wicker and Rev. William Hodge officiating.
Mrs. Prestage was born on January 12, 1921, in Paris, Mississippi, where she attended church all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Prestage.
Mrs. Prestage is survived by five children, Faye Prestage Roy and her husband Donald of Abbeville, MS, Harold Prestage and his wife Anne of Lafayette County, Jerry Prestage of Jackson, MS, Terry Prestage and his wife Debbie of Lafayette County, and Donna Frazier of Lafayette County; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two sisters, lona White of Jackson, TN and Clydell Traylor of Olive Branch, MS.
