FRAMINGHAM: Susan Marie “Ma” (Chew) Woo passed peacefully on Thursday morning, August 11, 2016, at the age of 82.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Susan was adopted by her late parents, Joseph and Mabel (Hill) Chew. She married Davis Woo in 1955, and together they raised their family of four in West Roxbury. Susan was retired from Price Waterhouse Coopers after many years employment, and later enjoyed part time work as a daycare teacher. She spent her whole life caring for others and loved sailing, skiing, gardening, and cooking. Most important to Susan was teaching her family about respect and compassion for others and sharing her love of life with them.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Davis, their children Theodore and his wife Sherry, Kathryn and her husband Edward, Daniel and his wife Betty, and Christine, and their six grandchildren, Christian, Ariel, Alex, Samantha, Brittany, and Danica. Susan also leaves her puppies Joey and Daisy.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Wednesday, August 17th at 10:00A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, 5 – 8P.M.
