Randy E. Boyle, 57, of Marlboro, former longtime resident of Hudson, died unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.

Randy was born in Clinton, son of the late Earle L. and Barbara E. (MacPherson) Boyle. He was raised in Hudson where he attended local schools and was a 1978 graduate of Hudson High School. Randy was a member of the 1978 Hudson High School Hockey State Championship Team and also played on numerous other Hudson High teams to include Softball, Track, and Quarterback on the Football team. Randy later earned a spot in the Hudson High Athletic Hall of Fame.

Randy was a self-employed highly skilled builder and developer for many years. In his younger years, Randy enjoyed playing on a semi-professional men's softball team where he loved traveling the country while playing one of the many sports that he thrived at. Later on in life, Randy continued his passion for softball by coaching the Firecracker Fury Softball team and also helped lead the Hudson High School women's softball team to a 2010 State Championship as a hitting coach. Randy resided in Hudson for most of his life until most recently moving to Marlboro 5 years ago.

Randy leaves his two loving daughters, Kristina Boyle and her fiancé Stephen Coukos of Franklin and Kendra Boyle of Kingston who both loved him with a passion; his sister, Connie Palatino and her husband Leo of Hudson; his girlfriend Pam of Nashua, NH; his many nieces and nephews; countless long-time best friends and his beloved dog Chanel whom tagged along to all of his job sites. He was the brother of the late Carolyn McLaughlin and Rodney Boyle.

Randy had many interests and talents in his life. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing and vacationing anywhere warm with his loved ones and friends. A passion in his life was his occupation as a contractor and he always took great pride in the projects and his completed work. He truly cherished his two daughters who deeply adored him and always looked forward to all the special times they shared throughout the years. He will forever be immensely missed and always remembered as a loving father, devoted brother and loyal friend by all who loved and knew him.

A funeral service and celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Saturday, Aug. 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
