Giuseppina (Ranaudo) Abruzzese, age 64 of Portsmouth, New Hampshire formerly of East Walpole passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 10. She was the wife of the late Antonio Abruzzese who died in 2015.
Born in Frigento, Italy, November 3, 1951, the daughter of the late Vito and Cocchiola (Consolata) Ranaudo, Mrs. Abruzzese came to America in 1974 and had lived in East Walpole for 41 years before moving to Portsmouth in 2015.
She will be remembered most for her strength, contagious smile and her distinct accent. She left her mark on all that she met along the way.
She was the proud mother of Monica Zingariello and her husband Vinny of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the adored “grandma” of Carmine, Sofia and Joseph Zingariello.
She is also survived by her siblings Carmine Ranaudo of Aesch, Switzerland and Angelina Ranaudo of Frigento, Italy.
She was the sister of the late Gerardo Ranaudo.
She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews across East Walpole, Italy and Switzerland.
Her funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 15 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
