William M. “Billy” Thurber, Jr., 56, of Lincoln Street, Smithfield, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence with his family by his side.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Rita J. (Reilly) Dorgan of Smithfield and the late William M. Thurber, Sr. He had lived in Smithfield his whole life.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his children: William M. Thurber, III of Smithfield, Michael G. Thurber of Johnston, Brandan J. Thurber and and Heather A. Thurber both of North Providence, his siblings: Wayne Thurber of North Carolina, Denise Cabral and her husband, Gene of Smithfield and niece and nephews: Amanda and Nicolaus Cabral and Cody Thurber.
Visitation Monday 5-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Philip Church Food Pantry, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828
