Laconia-----Gary J. Reichel 53, of Hillcrest Drive died unexpectedly Monday, August 8, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
Gary was born September 12, 1962 in Amsterdam, New York, son of Leonard J. and Patricia M. (Brzezicki) Reichel. He has been a longtime employee of Applebee's, having managed the Tilton location for many years.
Gary enjoyed cooking, often making a mess as he did so, fishing, music, gardening as well as enjoying a glass of his favorite wine with family and friends. Above all Gary cherished the time he spent with his two children.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Katie C. (Brown) Reichel of Laconia, his son, Tyler P. Reichel, his daughter Kimberly A. Reichel both of Laconia; his father Leonard Reichel and his wife, Mary; one brother, Scott L. Reichel and his wife, Lori; a sister Debra Auriemma and her husband, Vic all of Amsterdam, NY. He is predeceased by his mother.
Memorial Calling Hours will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10:00am - 12:00 noon at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A memorial service will immediately follow also at the funeral home at 12:00 noon.
