JAMES WILLIAM “JIM” HORRELL, 76, passed away on August 8, 2016.
He was a retired employee of General Electric, a 1958 graduate of St. Xavier High School, a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Aquatic Resource Fishing Program – Adventure Camp, a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and an Army veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Frances Horrell, and his sister, Jeanette Hempfling (Edward).
Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Caroline (Taylor) Horrell; his children, Julie Kelty (Brian) and Jennifer Santana; grandchildren, Charlotte and Jacqueline; son-in-law, Marcus; and nieces, Kathy, Cheryl and Judy.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd. with burial in St. Rose Priory Cemetery, Springfield, KY.
Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
