Phillip Spivack (60) of East Bridgewater died peacefully at home on August 8th.
He was born in Boston son of the late Jacob and Marilyn (Goralnick) Spivack. Phil served in the US Navy from 1978-1983 and was aboard the USS Nimitz. After serving his country he worked as a filing clerk for the VA Hospital system for some 30 years. He enjoyed computers, working with numbers and collecting. Phil was known as a man with a "giant heart".
Survivors include his sister Ellen F. Spivack-DeAngelis of Hanson, 2 nieces Amanda Raudys of Brockton and Meghan DeAngelis of Hanson, a nephew Jason MacLean of West Bridgewater, his aunt Phyllis Karp of Milton, 4 great nieces and nephews (also brother of the late Irene M. Raudys).
A Celebration of Phillips life will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Monday August 15th from 5-7 pm. Cremation to follow.
